The walk is
linear from Surrey Quays to Canada Water Stations (both
on the East London line) Travelcard zone 2 |
The only docks area south of the river. At its peak it had 9 docks & 6 timber ponds with storage sheds which covered 300 acres. Some areas of water remain whilst others have been redeveloped, many during the LDDC's period of control. |

This walk is up to 5¼ miles mostly path & pavement walking | This walk takes in new developments plus remaining historic features. There is a pleasant wooded area and a good viewpoint in the former Russia Dock. An optional diversion along Deptford Strand is included in the instructions. | [Route & what to see] |
