The New River is neither new nor a river it and doesn't even exist in this part of London any longer! However you can follow its course and see evidence of this artifical waterway. Stoke Newington has some historic buildings and Abney Park Cemetery contains monuments of interest in an attractive nature reserve setting. |

| The walk is up to 5miles on paths & pavements. | This walk follows the route of the New River from Highbury to Stoke Newington with some attractive stretches of landscaped park.
