Situated behind the John Harvard Library on the site of the Marshalsea Prison known to Dickens. Space in the library is limited and it is advisable to book a microfilm reader if required. Photographs,maps and some street directories are on open access as well as books. Staff will supply other materials on request. Publications for sale and toilets available. Places for refreshments in Borough High Street.
