ARCHON is an information source on manuscript collections, provided by the Historical Manuscripts Commission. Details of UK repositories, organisations and initiatives are available online. The National Archives website also has details of other archive resources.

Access to Archives is a database of catalogues of archives, often selected on a theme. The searchable site also contains links to and contact details for repositories plus selected digital images. However it does cover the whole of England and not just London.
