Material in numerous formats (some stored offsite) and assistance will be provided by staff (limited lunchtimes & Saturdays). Booking is advised for microfilm readers and computers with access to local & family history websites.

Changing exhibitions are mounted and BACKTRACKS a free newsletter is produced. A mailing list is offered for this or copies can be e-mailed.

There are publications, postcards & maps for sale which are also obtainable by post. A guide to the centre is available for £2.95 (£3.60 by post) and there are a number of free information sheets (sae required)
