The building with shop, cafe and exhibitions is open free to the general public. Researchers needing access to the collection need to apply for a readers ticket. These are issued by interview with applicants. Some of the collection is being made available on-line [click here].

Guided tours of the public areas take place Mon, Wed & Fri at 3pm and Sat at 10:30 & 3pm .Tours which include a Reading Room are offered on Sun & Bank Hols at 11:30 & 3pm. An architectural audio tour can be borrowed from the Information desk. There is a charge for all these and booking is recommended for guided tours. Tel 020 7412 7639.

A free quarterly mailing list is available for the programme of talks, activity sessions and study days. There is a Friends organisation Tel 020 7412 7734.
