A focal point for research into the history and topography of London especially the East End and radical social movements. It holds research material for local and family historians. The collection includes books, directories, maps, street guides, photos, prints and watercolours all available on open access or by request during opening hours.
There is a project to convert the current card catalogue to an electronic format that will be available on the internet. There are also plans to set up a users group. Sign up for the e-newsletter for more information.
