I'm sure Londoners value and appreciate all the green spaces in the capital (even those we can't normally get into!). It has become noticable over the past few years that thanks to organisations such as English Heritage, LPGT and 'Friends of' groups vast improvements are being made to parks and gardens that were previously rather forlorn.

If this aspect of London interests you membership of LPGT is open to all for a current standard subscription of £21pa. This includes 3 magazines, a journal and a ticket to Open Garden Squares Weekend (mid-June). A programme of summer walks and winter talks is offered (additional charge). There is also the opportunity to become involved in the work of this organisation in its declared aim of 'conserving, enhancing and recreating historic gardens for the benfit of present and future generations'.
